Opening Keynote: Competing in the AI-Winner-Takes All Economy

We’re living in the AI economy. Amazon, Netflix, and Uber have re-set our expectations of what digital experiences should be. If they’re not immediate and relevant, we move on. Leaders have a choice: harness the power of AI and make their digital experiences as personal and relevant as possible or compete against companies that do. Hear Coveo CEO Louis Tetu share why an AI-powered relevance transformation strategy is imperative for companies that aspire to grow faster, improve customer satisfaction, and make employees more proficient.

The Rise of Individualisation - Not a revolution but an evolution

A million people. A million experiences. Customers and employees today demand more from their online experiences. They now have a shortage of “digital patience” and won’t go page by page to find what they need. It’s not enough to merely “segment” your customers and employees into large groups, when every person brings a unique context and behavioural profile. 1 datapoint doesn't necessarily understand a customer, you need several data points. Join the discussion and hear how Salesforce and others have fundamentally shifted towards the whole customer experience as the chief driver of business value and how with AI, it's possible to truly individualise each customer as the unique and complex person that they are.

Keynote: The CX Roadmap

It’s time to embrace the new reality in customer experience. Your customers are deciding their own digital journeys - engaging only with what’s relevant to them. Instead of trying to steer them through an idealised, predetermined customer path, how do you reimagine your strategy to empower them on their journey with the content that they will most likely need next?

Coveo CMO Mark Floisand will explore this new reality we all face to rethink our approach to the customer experience - and how AI provides the foundation for automating this at scale.

4:40PM - 5:00PM

Special Presentation - Art and the Activated Viewer

Presenter : Tate Guest Speaker – Richard Thomas
More details

Special Presentation - Art and the Activated Viewer

In the mid-1960s the consumer of modern art was a nuisance who obscured the view of high-class abstract paintings.
It was time for a change and many experiments with audience participation followed.
In 2003, the idea of the ‘activated viewer’ was discovered at Tate Modern when an audience responded in their own way and renamed a work shown by Olafur Eliasson; his title “The Weather Project,” being replaced by “The Sun.” By far the most popular installation of all in the Turbine Hall, people lay on the floor to experience the work together, instead of drifting through or awkwardly discussing the work in a standard gallery-going manner.
Technology and the activated viewer have since been closely inter-related in imaginative and memorable works at Tate Modern, including works by Ai Weiwei and Philippe Parreno and Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster
